Lisa Carriere is an herbalist and a complementary health care practitioner. She has spent the last 18 years focused on companion animals & on helping them and their humans improve the quality of their lives.
She is an avid gardener, bicyclist and nature photographer and has called London home for almost 30 years.
Lisa was raised and spent her childhood in several small communities in Canada's arctic which gave her a lifelong, deep and abiding love of the land and of Canada's indigenous cultures.
She has spent many years volunteering for her community & for animals through serving on an advisory committee and task force for the city of London, through various volunteer groups like the London coalition against pesticides, the Thames Talbot Land Trust, Nature London, St Thomas Field Naturalists and Monarch Watch.
Lisa has been inspired to join the Green Party because she has been disillusioned with the state of politics and politicians and plans to bring honesty and integrity to Queen's Park. The Green Party's values of social justice, ecological wisdom, sustainability and respect for diversity align with her values and her vision for the world.
She sees the opportunity to serve the people of London Fanshawe as a great honour and is committed to being a voice for positive change.
